First Impressions:
These take a huge role throughout the journey of this book. Not only are first impressions used to create an immediate judgement on someones character, but it also goes to show how the characters don't really give each other a chance.With the main focus on this the people. end to not get to know each other that well. Like when Elizabeth first meets Mr. Darcy and completely dislikes him because of they way he puts himself off, but when she has been around him enough she gets to a point where she sees the real darcy. Not the one that he tends to show.

Pride is a huge characteristic that most of the characters in this book have. For example look at Mr. Darcy, he is conceited. He thinks very highly of himself and thats what he uses when looking at others to judge them from. Same with Elizabeth, she gives herself much higher standards and looks down on others not as intelligent as her and feels threatened by people of the same intellect. That's why she and Darcy have head to head battles during this book.

The higher the social class the better off you are in this book. Social class is what makes the characters who they are. Without Social class this book wouldn't have a basis to go off of.
